Fire Station No. 3

A joint safety complex involving police and fire services was one of the goals for this portion of our community. 

The McKinney Partnership Architects was retained to ensure that the design of the fire station was compatible yet unique in its design and planning. The fire station utilizes many of the interior features from Station 7 while incorporating the materials and finishes of the existing University of Oklahoma South Research Campus. Intersecting planes of glass and masonry are accented with sleek composite aluminum panels and translucent clerestory windows situated over the central circulation of the station.
