Center for Children & Families

For over 40 years CCFI has provided the community with compassionate solutions to heal broken children, empower youth, and strengthen families. CCFI purchased an older church building in Norman for their new location. 

The McKinney Partnership was selected to partner with CCFI in the design of their new facility, which included the renovation of over 25,000 square feet and the addition of a new entry area. While the exterior character was maintained to keep the context within the residential neighborhood, the new glass entry and colorful playground areas provide a welcoming entry for those seeking services. CCFI now has expanded their services and welcomes more kids with new therapeutic play areas outside and an expansive multipurpose space inside, in what was once the sanctuary.
