Our vision at The McKinney Partnership Architects is to deliver work that exceeds the needs of our clients and enriches the built environment. Our process includes a balance of innovation and proven solutions that incorporate technology, materials, and sustainability principles.

As a Director, Project Manager, Senior Architect, and Dad, Toni is focused on bringing positive energy and proactive contributions to every project he touches. He relishes a challenge and enjoys working with passionate clients. Responsiveness, commitment to the work and the pursuit of comprehensive project solutions define his approach. Toni has a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Design and a Bachelor of Architecture from the University of Oklahoma. He has been with The McKinney Partnership Architects since 1989. In his off time, he enjoys a good soccer match with his daughters.

As lead interior designer for The McKinney Partnership Architects, Jennifer approaches projects with the same energy and commitment that she shows to her husband and family. Her organization, dedication, creative solutions, and attention to detail is are all conveyed in every facet of her work. Jennifer received a Bachelor of Interior Design from the University of Oklahoma and has been with The McKinney Partnership Architects since 1999.

As a Senior Architect, Buddy’s commitment to his projects and to the firm is demonstrated by his dedicated service with The McKinney Partnership Architects for over three decades.  He has honed his versatile Architectural skills over the years; thirty-three of those working with Rick McKinney.

Buddy earned both a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Design and a Bachelor of Architecture from the University of Oklahoma.

He has many outside interests and passions, especially hanging with the family, hugging his granddaughter, and golfing with his buddies.

Julie earned her Bachelor of Architecture Degree from the University of Oklahoma and is an Associate member of the American Institute of Architects. She joined the McKinney Partnership in 2007.

With over 20 years of commercial Architecture experience, Julie loves how a career in Architecture blends her technical and creative interests. She brings a creative eye, focused attention to detail, accessibility knowledge, and code expertise to every project. Skilled in all phases of design, Julie enjoys developing thoughtful solutions for all client needs.

Outside of the office, Julie spends time exploring new places with her husband and daughter.

Erin began with TMP as a graduate student in 2011 while completing a Master of Construction Administration within the College of Architecture at the University of Oklahoma. With a design/build degree focus in Building Information Modeling (BIM) combined with thesis research in Sustainable Building Practices, Erin currently serves as LEED Project Manager coordinating sustainable operations for various projects. Recently awarded under her direction, Four Partners Place in OU’s South Research Campus was one of only six data centers nation-wide certified as LEED-NC 2009 at the time of certification. Outside of the office Erin makes time for the arts, travel, family, friends, and philanthropy.

Brock earned his Masters in Architecture along with a Bachelor of Arts in Film & Video Studies Degree from the University of Oklahoma, and is an Associate member of the American Institute of Architects. He joined the McKinney Partnership in 2021.

Brock has a strong passion for Architecture and enjoys contributing to improve the lives of people. Outside of work his interests are soccer, Lego activities, and spending time with his family. Brock is currently working towards becoming a licensed Architect.

Chris Harris returned to The McKinney Partnership Architects in 2015.  He is a CAD Technician in the Existing Conditions Survey Division, where he has done multiple jobs within the division. When he is away from work, he loves spending time with his daughter.

Following High School Kathy joined the US Army in 1988 and over the next 12 years traveled the globe while in Active Duty and the Reserves. Kathy experienced different cultures, developed her architecture and construction skills, and helped build unique structures for the Reserves. Kathy has been with The McKinney Partnership since 1999 and currently serves as Manager of our Existing Conditions Survey Division. Kathy’s diverse and vast experience in Architecture and Construction affords her a unique perspective that has been instrumental in the development of TMP’s Survey Division into a global leader. Away from TMP Kathy is an active with GSSF, her church, and her family. 

Jennifer joined The McKinney Partnership Architects in 2018 and was elevated to Business Manager in 2020. Before joining The McKinney Partnership, she worked in the legal field for fifteen years gaining valuable experience in office management, human resources, project accounting, contracts, customer service and office productivity. In her free time, she likes to spend as much time as possible with her husband and son. Her favorite vacation spot is Santa Fe.  She loves anything involving the outdoors, particularly swimming, boating, riding horses and shark fishing.

Michelle has been with The McKinney Partnership since 2009 and for the past 8 years has been responsible for survey coordination for our domestic and international surveys. Her attention to detail and thorough coordination facilitates smooth-running projects for all. Away from the office, Michelle is active in her church and enjoys spending time with her husband and children.

Matthew King has been with The McKinney Partnership Architects since 2002 and is a Project Manager within our Existing Condition Survey division. His deep interest in technology and innovation serve the firm well in our efforts to remain advanced in our process and deliverables. Whether he is juggling multiple projects or building a home for his family, Matthew enjoys rolling up his sleeves and taking an active role in the process from start to finish.

Following graduation from the University of Oklahoma in 1977 with a Bachelor of Science of Environmental Design and a Bachelor of Architecture with Distinction. His foundation in construction started in the family garage where he learned woodworking from his father, an industrial arts teacher. While at OU Rick began working in several firms and eventually becoming partner in the firm of Remy McKinney Associates until 1986, gaining extensive experience in commercial, office, retail, and real estate development projects. 

In 1986, he formed The McKinney Partnership Architects with a focused commitment to providing exceptional and innovative design solutions to fit the specific needs of his clients. Rick’s experience and keen awareness of planning, construction, development, and design afford the firm an overall level of expertise that is specific and supportive of all our work. 

Away from the office, Rick enjoys time with his expanding family, golf, woodworking, the mountains, and his church.

Samantha graduated from the University of Oklahoma in 2004 with a Bachelor of Architecture and has enjoyed being with The McKinney Partnership Architects since 2011.  She is not a stranger to taking on a challenge, having worked her way through college while simultaneously owning her own business. Samantha regularly takes on managing responsibilities for projects and deadlines in the Retail Division. Being creative, flexible, resourceful, team-oriented, organized, and disciplined; Samantha strives to use all her talents for the benefit of TMP and its clients.  Samantha is currently working toward her architectural license. When not at TMP, she enjoys time with her family and church. 

Mr. Walker has over 37 years of experience and he joined The McKinney Partnership in 2016.  His experience in design, construction documents and construction administration of office, government, and educational work combined with his experience working at the University of Oklahoma Architectural and Engineering Services positions him as a valuable asset to the project team.

Since joining The McKinney Partnership Architects, Mr. Walker has focused on the office and university sector completing numerous office, commercial, financial, and space-planning projects.

Greg is the creative yet incredibly organized director of The McKinney Partnership Architects Interiors Division. Whether he is designing a beautiful interior space, developing a new prototype concept for a national retailer, or sharing great music, you can be sure that Greg keeps everyone around him energized and motivated. His overall design awareness and project management skills benefit every project he takes on.

Greg has a Bachelor of Architecture from the University of Oklahoma and has been with The McKinney Partnership Architects since 1992.

Blake Watson has been with The McKinney Partnership Architects since 2004 and is an Associate within the Firm and a Job Captain in our Survey Division. Blake’s dedication to meeting client’s needs is second to none. He always welcomes a challenge and thrives to meet tough deadlines. Out of the office, you will find Blake at church where he leads and disciple’s youth. Spending time with his family is very important to Blake and his family is always on the move enjoying school activities, road trips, mountain hikes, horses and just time at home.
