Dermatology & Cosmetic Center of Oklahoma

Dermatology is the division of medicine that looks deeply into the smallest elements of our skin. Torrey Butzer of Butzer Architects and Urbanism, in a collaborative effort with The McKinney Partnership, designed the Dermatology and Cosmetic Center of Oklahoma, a cutting-edge clinic recently opened in Norman.  Clients are greeted with a maple feature wall that celebrates skin cell DNA with hexagonal patterns and recessed walnut display units.  Similar patterns are repeated throughout the entire design within the flooring and furnishings.  The overhead walnut ceiling plane delineates the circulation path that surrounds the central workspace and clarifies the simplicity of the plan. Rich wood, full-height tempered glass, pure white quartz countertops and crisp lines project a clean and professional treatment environment.
